Dual-purpose emitter for misting and irrigation over propagation benches |

Propagation systems for nurseries and greenhouses is a critical and important agro-technological issue. Effective propagation systems require the following features:
- Uniform water coverage
- No dripping onto seedlings during operation
- Delicate combination of substrate wetting and air-humidity control
- Simple maintenance and reliable operation.
NaanDanJain’s R&D department used these criteria as a basis for developing a simple dual-purpose emitter for misting and irrigation over propagation benches, resulting in the Green Mist, an emitter which creates a cloud of fine droplets and ensures uniform wetting.
The bridgeless structure of the emitter prevents dripping, and the ideal droplet size prevents drift of fine mist. The emitter’s sturdy plastic construction ensures years of trouble-free use.
Accumulation of scale around the Green Mist does not effect water distribution.
The Green Mist system is equipped with low pressure anti-leakage units for pulse operation. Each pulse can be as short as 2.0 sec.
Technical specifications.
- Low pressure range: 2.0 – 4.0 bar
- Nominal flow rate: 32 l/h
- LPD (Leakage Prevention Device) for perfect pulse operation
- Optimal installation height: 1.0 – 1.2 m
- Max. spacing: 1.0 x 1.0 m
- Installation: The Green Mist can be connected by flexible extension laterals to PE pipes or directly to PVC pipes.
